Roger and Beverly Legere remain in Portland, ME. Roger has spent several weeks in rehab following two strokes this summer. Roger’s cancer has now spread to his spine, pelvis and shoulders. To relieve some of the pain he is doing two weeks of radiation. His pain has worsened and he returned to the nursing home for continued radiation and pain management. Please keep up with him through the Caring Bridge site. At this site his family posts updates. Son Don reads all of the guestbook signings to him. Phone calls are difficult time wise for the family. Our part is still to flood his mail box with cards and notes. See address in the side bar.
Wednesday Classes
An education committee, appointed by President Legere last spring, is working on
presentations for January through March 2009. We are not limited to the following topics but these have surfaced as being wanted. If you would like to make a presentation please get in touch with Roxie @ MarsCreate@aol.com. Roxie will need to know your topic of interest and the dates you will be in the park.We are also looking for someone to teach beginner classes on Dec. 3, 10, and 17. If interested contact Roxie @ MarsCreate@aol.com. In addition we would be interested in scheduling some beginner classes on Monday and/or Thursday mornings. If you wish to teach these classes please contact us. Several small classes would be just great.
